A DevSecOps Engineer is an individual uses data and security science as their primary means of protecting the organization and customer. This sixteen (16) hour course describes the purpose, benefits, concepts and vocabulary of DevSecOps; particularly how DevSecOps roles fit with a DevOps culture and organization.

With the advent of DevOps and the movement to break down silos between developers, QA, security and operations, it becomes critically important that all members of an IT team – regardless of what tools they use, or role they play – understand the essentials of security. This course is for anyone/everyone involved in defining, designing or implementing a DevOps security strategy.

In the DevSecOps Engineering (DSOE) course, participants experience an inclusive learning environment focusing on the necessary knowledge to make security and compliance consumable as a service and the concept of “security as a code”.
